Caine is a Sessional Lecturer in landscape architecture at UWA School of Design and a Adjunct Lecturer at AUDRC. He lectures on subjects including landscape architecture, urban design, greening and urban forestry, and professional documentation.

Caine continues to explore the expanding field of greening and urban forestry and its contribution to the overall liveability and health of our urban environment.
